Custom Bachelorette Party Robes That Show Up On Time
Get a Bachelorette Quote →What makes a good custom bachelorette party robe
The bachelorette robe pictures hit social media before the bride even leaves the rental house. The ones that look great in those photos share three traits: the satin has enough weight to drape, the embroidery has enough density to read in a photo from across the room, and the colors actually match what the bride asked for instead of “close enough.” The ones that look bad in those photos share three other traits: the fabric is so thin it shows the bridesmaid’s actual bra, the names are heat-transfer vinyl that’s already cracking, and one robe arrived in “blush” while the rest arrived in “dusty rose.”
We’ve shipped custom bachelorette party robes for thousands of bridal parties since we started doing this. The number-one complaint from brides who’d ordered elsewhere first: the satin was too thin. So we use a 95gsm satin charmeuse, double-stitched at the seams, with a real interior tie belt instead of just a sash. The robe ties closed the way a real robe ties closed.
What you can customize
| Element | Options | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Color | 26 stock satin colors | Or Pantone-matched on orders of 12+ |
| Personalization | Name, title, date, monogram | Most parties do title (Bride / Maid of Honor / Bridesmaid) |
| Imprint method | Embroidery, screen print, vinyl | Embroidery looks best on satin |
| Placement | Left chest, back yoke, back full | Back yoke is the social-media winner |
| Sizes | XS through 4X, plus child sizes | Same robe pattern across sizes |
The single highest-impact choice is back-yoke embroidered titles. “Bride” in script on the back of one robe, “Maid of Honor” on another, “Bridesmaid” on each of the rest. That’s the photo that ends up framed in the bride’s house.
Picking colors that actually work in photos
Some satin colors photograph beautifully and some photograph badly — and it’s not always intuitive. Pure white satin tends to blow out under flash. Pale blush reads almost identical to skin tone in some lighting. Bold colors (emerald, navy, terracotta, deep rose) read consistently across every lighting condition and look striking in group photos.
The current trend among brides ordering custom bachelorette party robes is a tonal palette — the bride in one accent color, the bridal party in a coordinated but different shade. We can mix-and-match colors within a single order without surcharge. Most parties order the bride in white or a metallic and the bridal party in a coordinated color.
Pricing tiers
| Quantity | Per-robe tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 robes | Boutique tier | Bride + maid of honor pre-order, often |
| 4–7 robes | Standard bridal party | The most common bachelorette order |
| 8–15 robes | Large party | Per-robe price drops about 15% |
| 16+ robes | Group order | Custom quote — usually a wedding party plus extended family |
Embroidery is the same flat charge per robe regardless of order size. The bulk pricing kicks in on the robe itself.
We can still ship in time. Send the bridesmaid sizes and the title list — we’ll quote and start production within one business day.
Start a Rush Order →Lead time and shipping
Standard lead time is 10–14 business days from artwork approval. About a third of our orders go on rush (7 business days, modest surcharge) because the bride realized the trip was sooner than she thought.
If you’re inside 2 weeks of the trip, talk to us. We can usually still make it work with a smaller order (bride + maid of honor first, rest of the party second) or with a partial inventory of stock colors plus the embroidery rushed. The actual deadline depends on where the trip is — domestic ship-to is faster than international, obviously.
The robes you’ll see in the photos
Custom bachelorette party robes show up in three predictable photo moments: the morning-of getting-ready shots, the rooftop / pool group photo on day one of the trip, and the silly late-night photo no one expected to make the wedding speeches but did. The robe needs to look good in all three. Heavy satin drapes well sitting, standing, and laying down. Lightweight poly looks fine standing still and looks like a wrinkled mess in any seated photo.
The other thing the photos teach you: matching robes look amazing in pictures. Matching robes plus matching slippers plus matching pajamas underneath looks like you tried too hard. Our recommendation is to coordinate but not match across pieces.
FAQ
Are these robes the see-through kind I’ve seen on cheap bachelorette sites?
No. Our satin is 95gsm — about double the weight of the bargain robes on Amazon. You can wear a regular bra underneath without it showing through, which is the practical complaint we hear most often about cheaper robes.
What sizes do you offer?
XS through 4X in adults, plus child sizes for flower girl / junior bridesmaid roles. The cut is intentionally roomy because bachelorettes usually want to wear it over pajamas or a swimsuit.
How is the personalization done?
Embroidery is our default for custom bachelorette party robes — it photographs the best and lasts the longest. We can do screen print or heat-transfer vinyl if you specifically want a different look (a typography-heavy back design might call for screen print).
Can we mix robe colors in one order?
Yes, no surcharge. Most parties do exactly this — bride in one color, party in another. Up to four colors in a single order is no problem.
What’s the minimum order?
One. A lot of brides order their robe alone first to confirm the look, then come back for the party. We do offer better pricing at the 4-robe tier where the typical bridal party order lives.
How fast can you go on a rush order?
Seven business days for the standard rush tier. We’ve shipped in 4 business days for true emergencies on simple designs, but that requires same-day artwork approval and a single color.
Can you ship directly to the rental house / hotel?
Yes. We ship anywhere in the US and to most international destinations. If the venue requires signature receipt, let us know in the quote so we can pre-coordinate.
Do you accept returns if a bridesmaid backs out?
Personalized robes can’t be resold, so we don’t accept returns on embroidered or printed pieces. If a bridesmaid drops out before production starts, we can adjust the order at no charge. If it’s after production, the robe is yours — we’d suggest gifting it to whoever steps in.
Send the bridesmaid sizes, the color palette, and your trip date — we’ll quote production and shipping with a guaranteed arrival window.
